|Charter Student Wins Anti-Drug Contest!|
A sixth grade student at the Sussex County Charter School for Technology was selected as a winner of the “What’s Your Anti-Drug?” contest run by the local Coalition for Healthy & Safe Communities, which is a Center for Prevention and Counseling program.
This year’s contest had more than 1,200 entries from 28 schools in Sussex County. All of the winning entries, which discussed healthy ways students can relieve stress, escape peer pressure, and avoid drugs, are featured in The New Jersey Herald.
The student, along with three friends, also won the chance to eat lunch with the Charter School’s Vice Principal, Mr. James Baldini.
For more information, look for the contest’s supplement in The New Jersey Herald from November 11.
